Welcome back to the Lalage Beaumont blog where we showcase our latest collections, designs and the goings on of our Knightsbridge boutique. In today's entry we look at a subject very close to many people's hearts - afternoon tea. What could be better after spending a wonderful day with your family or friends in London, shopping for your mother of the bride outfit or occasion wear at our boutique than celebrating 'job done' with a delicious afternoon tea afterwards.

We have chosen our top five spots to leave the world behind and indulge in a delicious array of finger sandwiches, cakes and exotic teas.

With a firm nod to tradition (smoked salmon and cream cheese) but served in a modern way on beetroot bread and cucumber on matcha tea bread.  This delicious afternoon tea by acclaimed Pastry Chef Claire Clark is well worth the visit.
