Shoulder bags are adored by women of all ages and to Lalage Beaumont this is no surprise; they are fashionable and chic while also being easy to carry and adding an extra level of security when it comes to the bag and its contents. First introudced in the mid 1950s and revolutionary at the time, this style of handbag quickly found favour due to its practicality and relative informality. Lalage particularly recommends shoulder bags for events when you may wish to have your hands free to hold a drink or greet people. Most Lalage Beaumont bags feature shoulder straps with a buckle, so that they can be adjusted to suit people of different heights and preferences; additional holes can be added if you favour a longer or shorter strap. Please ask the team in store about this option if you are interested. And even though these are designated 'shoulder bags', you can still enjoy having a beautiful silk ribbon tied around the top handle.
