The Lalage Beaumont bestselling handbags include the Maya bag, which comes in four sizes (Mignon, Midi, East/West and Large) and in a range of colours, from bright, joyful colours to chic monochrome neutrals. The Fonteyn bag, similar in style to the Maya, is also very popular. These are top-handle bags but all come with detachable shoulder straps to ensure your bag can be as versatile as it is timeless and beautiful.

While the Lalage Beaumont handbag size in Large is practical, especially for those taking their bag to work, the Midi size, says the designer, is ideal for those who'd like a bag that is compact but still big enough to fit one's essentials. It embodies the classic handbag look with the very precise construction and detailing. Lalage Beaumont handbags are made from full-grain calf leather in one of three different effects: the Caribou which is the softest of the leathers and has the appearance of deer skin, the Orinoco, which is a very authentic looking croc print, and the Dolomite pebble-print which is the most resilient finish. All are produced using artisan skills combined with modern techniques developed at boutique tanneries in Tuscany, the traditional centre of the Italian leather industry. Available in many colours, mostly exclusive to Lalage Beaumont, the leathers are very durable and hard to scratch. The crocodile print is especially popular with customers who appreciate the elegant effect of a traditional look that harks back to the 1950s. Most of the handbags are lined with bright pink calf suede, which is the signature Lalage Beaumont colour, or beige if better suited to the bag.
