The Fonteyn handbag is one of Lalage Beaumont's most popular and versatile bags. Its five different sizes range from the petite Mignon and medium Midi to the narrower, longer East West or Cutch styles and the Large tote bag. For all styles a detachable shoulder strap is available; Lalage believes that bags must be practical to be used frequently and loved for a lifetime. The Fonteyn is notable for its wide range of colours, a Lalage Beaumont signature: the designer loves colour, as many women do, and, having found this wasn't adequately reflected in other bag collections, set about delivering this choice. There's everything from rose, cyclamen pink, bluebell and cobalt blue to emerald, metallic green, orange and wine red. Every handbag is designed by Lalage at the brand's atelier in London and handcrafted by artisan experts in Europe, using traditional techniques that have been perfected over hundreds of years.
