Long-Sleeved Midi Dress with Flared Skirt in Plain Navy Silk - Sofia

It is beautifully made from the enclosed back zipper to the gathering of the silk at the wrists. A master made this dress. It's also pretty, tastefully understated, and versatile enough to wear to black-tie and dress-up occasions, weddings, as a guest or mother of the bride or groom, dinner parties, events at church, temple, or other place of worship, to any evening ceremony or gala. It's also very comfortable, lightweight, and warm with its two layers of silk - a soft silk lining under silk crepe. It is not see-through. I'm 5'4" and with two-inch heels, the length is midi - mid-calf. Pretty. The look I wanted. The sleeves were too long, but I have a skilled seamstress friend who will adjust them for me. Everything else about the dress fits perfectly. I love it. It's a forever dress. I'm wearing it to my son's wedding.
