Bespoke Mother of the Bride

We are happy to offer Made to Measure and Demi-Couture items for a Mother of the Bride or Groom outfit or for any other occasion.

Any of the styles in our collections can be made to your size, and we are also happy to make your favourite pieces in different fabric combinations, from the ranges we have available. We are sometimes able to offer additional colours or fabrics, should you have a colour theme you would like to follow. 

For Special Orders and Made to Measure outfits, surcharges are applied to cover pattern making, toiles, the increased manufacturing costs for making a one off item plus additional carriage costs.   

If you are a standard size and would like an outfit making in a different fabric, a Special Order surcharge would be applied as follows: 

Coat - £250

Jacket - £200 

Dress - £200 

Skirt or Trousers - £150

These surcharges would be in addition to the cost of the garment. The garment would be charged as per the stock in the shop or on the website. Should the item concerned now be offered at a reduced price, the original price would be applied to the Special Order.

Please note that as Special Orders are made to a standard size, should the finished item require alterations, these may be charged.

For Made to Measure, where special patterns need to be created and toiles fitted, the surcharges are as follows:

Coat - £900

Jacket - £800

Dress - £700

Trousers - £450

Skirt - £350

As per above, these surcharges would be in addition to the cost of the garment, which would be as per the stock in the shop or on the website.

For Made to Measure outfits, any alterations would not be charged and are all included in the costs above.

DELIVERY TIMES

Delivery for Special Orders is generally 4 - 6 weeks from receipt of order but this may be longer at certain times of year. Please also allow time for minor alterations once the garment is made (this generally takes about a week).

Delivery for Made to Measure is generally 10-12 weeks from receipt of order and will require an initial appointment for measurements to be taken, followed by a minimum of two further appointments.

CHARGES AND DEPOSITS

We ask for the surcharge plus 50% of the cost of the items at the time of placing your order (this amounts to approximately 75% of the total cost). The balance may be paid once any alterations have been completed and the outfit is finished.  (Unfortunately deposits are non-refundable.)

DIFFERENT STYLES

We are sorry but we are not able to create totally new styles and offer only styles from within our current or previous collections, possibly with minor alterations. We are also not able to make up a customer’s own fabric but we often source special fabrics at customers' requests.
